Omara and Brett’s engagement preview

I’ve been looking forward to Omara and Brett’s engagement session for a long time.  We went out to Kensington tonight and had a lot of fun!  They’re such a great couple to work with — both totally natural in front of the camera (and looking pretty good, too!).  Can’t wait for the wedding in September!

Here are just a few of our many favourites from the night!  We’ll post the rest of our favourites in a few days.

SO happy you are blogging again.
LOVE your work Geoff. These are beautiful… lovely light too!

Connor

I was talking to my brother-in-law today and found out that my nephew Connor isn’t feeling well.  Poor little guy!  I went back to some shots I took of him late last year and have included a few of my favourites.

I hope you feel better soon, buddy!

Community

Tomorrow, I will be going around our small town of Strathmore to meet and network with my fellow business owners.  Skip Cohen, one of the leaders in the photography industry, stresses the importance of networking and getting involved in your community.

My first goal is to meet other business owners and find out how I can help with their businesses.  Second, and most important, I plan to meet with non-profit and charity organizations to determine what I can do to make our community better.  This is very important to me, as I take pride in my town and the people living in it.  In the summer, we have exciting plans on how to benefit our community with our photography — watch for an announcement in the next few months!

Thanks, Skip, for being such an inspiration in our industry.  You help make us all better people.
